Scriptwriter + ProduceR
I live most of my life hovered over or pacing in front of or staring into stark white voids: journals, whiteboards, Word documents—the desolate and unforgiving worlds of any writer. My job is to populate those worlds with letters—letters that mingle into words, words that settle into paragraphs, and paragraphs that flourish into stories.
This is where I spend my time, because this is where it counts. As Alfred Hitchcock said, “To make a great film, you need three things: the script, the script, and the script.” And so I spend my days wandering through these empty wastelands, refusing to rest until I find what I know exists out there somewhere, like a ruby in a snowstorm: your story.
